Welcome to Hands Across Niagara
Hands Across Niagara is a compelling charity event that will be held in Niagara that aims to unite Niagara residents between the Lake Ontario and Lake Erie shores."You can be in a wheelchair, you can be on crutches, you can be 7 or 70 years old, it doesn't matter, you can participate." "This event is for everyone."
The vision for Hands Across Niagara is that on Saturday June 9, 2012 (rain date Sunday June 10, 2012), thousands of Niagara residents will simultaneously hold hands in a human chain starting at Lock 1 (Lake Ontario) continuing along the Welland Canals walking Trail ending at Lock 3. This will not only be a profound show of support for people afflicted with cancer, but will promote broader community awareness and importantly, raise money that will stay in Niagara to combat the disease and support its victims.
